Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 August 2026
This policy explains what personal information Phantom Acquisition collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it. We keep this deliberately short and plain, because a privacy policy you cannot read is not a privacy policy.
1. Who we are
Phantom Acquisition is a done-for-you content production business operated by {{LEGAL_ENTITY}} ("Phantom Acquisition", "we", "us", "our"). We produce short-form and long-form video content for creators, coaches, and founders.
For any privacy question, or to exercise any right described in this policy, contact darshan@thephantomacquisition.com.
2. What we collect
Information you give us directly
This website has no contact forms. The only way you submit information to us through this site is by booking a call or by contacting us on one of the channels we list. Depending on which you use, we may receive:
- Booking a call: your name, email address, time zone, scheduled time, and anything you type into the booking questions. This is collected by Calendly, not by this website.
- Email: your email address and the contents of your message.
- Instagram: your Instagram handle and the contents of your messages.
Information collected automatically
This website runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no tracking scripts of our own. We do not set our own cookies. Two third parties do receive limited technical data when your browser loads the page:
- Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address, browser user agent, requested page, and timestamp. These are used for security and uptime, not profiling.
- Google Fonts receives your IP address because your browser fetches the font files from Google's servers.
- Calendly loads its booking widget on our booking section and may set its own cookies. Calendly's handling of that data is governed by Calendly's privacy policy.
Information we collect if you become a client
Once you engage us, we collect what is needed to actually do the work. That typically includes your business details, billing information, brand materials, existing content, recordings you send us, and access to the platforms we publish on for you.
3. What we do with it
We use personal information only to:
- Respond to your enquiry and schedule or run a call with you
- Prepare a proposal and, if you engage us, deliver the services
- Issue invoices and process payments
- Send you service-related messages about work in progress
- Keep records we are required to keep, and resolve disputes
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate, and only to the extent they need it:
| Provider | Purpose | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Calendly | Call scheduling | Name, email, booking details |
| Google Workspace | Email and document delivery | Email address, message and document contents |
| Hostinger | Website hosting | Server log data including IP address |
| {{PAYMENT_PROCESSOR}} | Payment processing | Name, email, billing details |
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
Payment details. We never see or store your full card number. Card data is captured and held by our payment processor, who is responsible for securing it.
5. International transfers
We operate from India and several of our providers are based in the United States and the European Union. Your information may therefore be processed outside your country of residence. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards our providers have in place, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become clients: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client records and deliverables: for the duration of the engagement and 24 months after it ends.
- Invoices and financial records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Server logs: as retained by our host on a rolling short-term basis.
7. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Give you a copy of it
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it, where we are not required to keep it
- Stop using it for a particular purpose
- Stop sending you marketing messages
Email darshan@thephantomacquisition.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you for this and we will not make you justify the request.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in California, you have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of the rights above.
8. Security
We use access-controlled accounts, two-factor authentication on our critical systems, and encrypted connections for this website and our email. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take the protection of your information seriously and will notify you without undue delay if a breach affects your personal data.
9. Children
Our services are sold to businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant and affects existing clients, we will tell you by email.
